New packing materials

Posted by Symphony Scents on 4/4/2017 to News
As most of you know, we reuse as much peanuts, boxes and packing material as we can. The environment is very important to us here at Symphony Scents, and we are going to take some steps to be even more so.

Bubble wrap is probably the biggest issue. We don't want to use plastic bottles for our 1/2-16 ounce sizes, but the glass bottles do need a lot of cushioning. We are going to try out a corrugated wrap that looks like this:

We are going to start with the smaller bottles and see how this does. We may or may not be able to do our 16 ounce bottles with this, so you may notice both types of material in your boxes.

We are also moving from biodegradable packing peanuts to a kraft paper void fill material. While our peanuts are biodegradable, many people probably don't realize this. Hopefully this will be a cost savings as well to try to keep our shipping costs down.

When you start receiving these, let us know how it works!
