Essential Oils are natural oils taken from various plants. The oil may come from the leaf, stem, bark, flower, or fruit. These are global commodities and as such, the prices can fluctuate over time, often mirroring crop yields. All of our EOs are 100% pure and uncut. They are for external use only and should not be considered food grade.
Ginger is still out of stock indefinitely due to price spike.

Chinese Star Anise, Illicium verum.
That familiar black licorice scent. May crystallize at lower temperatures but will liquify if bottle is placed in warm water.
Pure Basil Oil, Ociumum basilicum, originating from India.
Pure Cedarwood Essential Oil, Juniperus virginiana.
Originates in the USA. This is a pleasant wood scent, good on its own or in a blend with spice scents.
Cinnamomum zeylanicum, originating from Ceylon.
A great scent but careful to go easy with it in CP soap, as too much can cause seizes. This is a good blending scent: try it with Sweet Orange EO or Sandalwood FO! But please be aware, this is not a strong cinnamon spice scent, it is more of a green and leafy smell. For a strong cinnamon like that in your kitchen, try our Mistletoe FO instead.
CP Note: This EO will accelerate trace, or can seize a batch under the right conditions. Keep mixing temperatures low (under 100F) and do not discount the water.
Citronella Java from Indonesia, Cymbopogon nardus Rendle.
Incredibly potent and well-known for its mosquito-repelling qualities.
Distilled Clove Bud Oil, Eugenia caryophyllata.
Originates from Indonesia. Rich, lovely, and spicy.

Corn mint is one of the 25 natural species in the mint family. It produces a refreshingly sweet mint oil. In scent it is somewhere between peppermint and spearmint.

This is Lavender 40/42 - meaning it is a blend of Italian, Bulgarian, and French lavender EOs (Lavendula Officinalis), together with lavandin (Lavendula Hybrid). The lavandin gives it more strength to last through the soapmaking process.
Most natural materials in this blend originate in France; however the product is blended and standardized in the USA.
Lemon Oil California Type C.p. FCC (From Inland Fruit), Citrus limon.
Low Flashpoint - no international or air shipments.
Cymbopogon Citratus.
Originating from India, this oil is strong and very lemony with earthy notes. We like using lemongrass because it holds up better in soap than lemon essential oil.
Distilled West Indian lime essential oil, Citrus aurantifolia. Also known as key lime, this oil is strong and refreshing!
Low Flashpoint - no international or air shipments.
Pure Litsea Essential Oil, Litsea cubeba from China.
It is also known as May Chang. This has a nice lemony scent that will hold through the soapmaking process, and help to anchor citrus EOs in soap.
This great-smelling sweet orange (citrus sinensis) is extracted from the peel and cold pressed. It's an inexpensive essential oil because it is plentiful and produced right here in the USA.
Low Flashpoint - no international or air shipments.
Indian Palmarosa essential oil (Cymbopogon martinii motia).
This grassy plant is also known as Indian geranium and rosha grass. The essential oil has a wonderful floral note to it, almost rose-like with lemony touches. This oil blends well with patchouli and is reported to have anti-stress aromatherapy benefits.
This is truly a fabulous patchouli (Pogostemon Cablin)! Aged and with a deep color, this oil is slightly thick. Even non-patchouli-lovers will appreciate the smoothness and full body of this essential oil.

American Peppermint, Mentha piperita.
The midwestern U.S. has the best mint in the world! Great for the holidays or any time of year, peppermint is a true classic. Ours is redistilled, which adds to the strength and sweetness of raw peppermint.
Egyptian Rose Geranium Oil. Mostly natural geranium essential oil (Pelargonium Graveolens), combined with Phenyl Ethyl Alcohol, a component found in natural rose oil.
Pure, strong Moroccan Rosemary (rosemarinus offincinalis).
Please be aware, this oil can change a lot from one crop to the next, and the Moroccan is quite different from Spanish rosemary.
Low Flashpoint - no international or air shipments.
Clary Sage essential oil (Salvia Sclarea) from France.
Steam Distilled from flowering tops and leaves. Clary Sage has a tea like odor with floral notes and a hint of citrus. It blends well with other florals such as lavender and rose geranium, or other woody scents such as fir needle.
Aromatherapy benefits:
Reported to be used for relaxation and depression help. Also a slight antiseptic.
This is "first cutting" spearmint (mentha spicata), comparable to redistilled peppermint. Very fresh, strong, and lasts very well in soap.
Tangerine Oil California Type C.p. FCC, Citrus reticulata.
Low Flashpoint - no international or air shipments.
Australian tea tree oil, Melaleuca alternifolia. Steam distilled from leaves and twigs of the tea tree plant. Employed more for its anti-fungal properties than for its scent.
